Method 1: Quick code *#06#
- Open the Phone (Dialer) app.
- Dial *#06# — the code activates automatically, no need to press call.
- Your IMEI appears on screen immediately. Dual SIM phones show IMEI 1 and IMEI 2.
How to find the IMEI on a Samsung phone
Quick guide for any Samsung Galaxy phone. You can find the IMEI in Settings, on the SIM tray, on the box or by dialing *#06#.
Method 2: From Settings
- Open Settings.
- Go to About phone.
- Tap Status information or IMEI information.
- You'll find IMEI 1 (and IMEI 2 for dual SIM models).
Method 3: SIM tray or back
On some older Samsung models, the IMEI is printed on the SIM tray (eject it with the pin) or on a label under the removable battery.
Method 4: Original box
The serial number and IMEI are printed on the barcode label on the original box.
