If you cannot connect the AirPods, you can find the model number printed directly on the hardware.
The model number is printed on the underside of each earbud, the part closest to your ear canal. It starts with the letter A.
Remove the cushion from the left ear cup. The model number is printed on the inside of the ear cup, behind where the cushion sits.
Open the lid and look inside the case, near the hinge. The model number is printed there as well.
